New edition of Azorean Spirit is now available

Thinking about the first holidays of 2020, the cover of the sixth edition of our inflight magazine is Gran Canaria, an island tempered by a sunny climate throughout the year, which makes its beautiful beaches even more desirable. And because we want you to enjoy this destination in the best way, we propose unmissable activities and some of the best places to eat on the island.

If your preference falls on more charismatic destinations, you will like to know more about the Capelinhos Volcano, an incredible place on the island of Faial, where the force of Nature has left its mark through a fascinating landscape. Be sure to visit the Interpretation Center of the Capelinhos Volcano, named the best museum in Europe in 2012 by the European Museum Forum, and where you can find about the formation of the Azores archipelago.

Snow destination lovers will certainly find the perfect excuse to take a trip to Vancouver, Canada. There is located the Whistler Blackcomb ski resort, where those who like strong emotions can practice several winter sports in the fantastic setting between the Whistler and Blackcomb mountains.

In this magazine, you can also travel to the past through the SATA Air Açores fleet. We show you the photos and the characteristics of the aircraft that have been part of this fleet since 1947.

We also invite you to get to know Joel Neto, a writer from Terceira island, whose writing invariably reflects his love for the Azorean islands, where he was born and resides.

We hope that reading this magazine will provide you with an even more pleasant journey. But know that you do not need to be on board one of our planes to read it. You can download this and all editions of the SATA Azores Airlines inflight magazine here.

Good flights and good readings!
