Moms to be onboard

First of all, congratulations on your pregnancy!

Although it is usually a happy and very special time, there are certain cautions you need to consider. When it comes to travel by plane, for example, some suggestions will help you enjoy a relaxed and comfortable flight.

. Consult your obstetrician before traveling;

. Book a seat on the aisle so that you can easily go to the toilet or walk during the flight;

. If you wish so, do some exercises with simple movements to promote good blood circulation by stretching your legs, turning your ankles and wiggling your toes;

. Be prepared with some extra clothing so you can adjust to the temperature in the cabin;

. Hydrate as much as you can, because the air in the cabin can be quite dry;

. Avoid tight shoes as your feet may swell a bit during the flight;

. Consider using compression tights to ease blood circulation;

. Attach your seatbelt to the pelvic area below the abdomen. If necessary, request an extension to our crew, to feel as comfortable as possible.
