Pack like a pilot

Packing can be an art and, probably, no one knows it as well as those who fly for a living. We leave some tips for your next trip.

Do some detailed research before your trip

Find out, in advance, if the hotel or accommodation where you will be staying has a hairdryer, shampoo, shower gel and other amenities. So, if you already know in advance what you will have available at your destination, you’ll know in advance what you won’t have to take from home.

Invest in a good suitcase

Invest in durable, lightweight suitcases, with wheels and the ideal size for your purpose. And don’t forget: if you want to go shopping, take a relatively larger and emptier suitcase to have space to accommodate what you might buy.

Maximize space

Putting clothes on rolls will be much easier and will save you a lot of space. In addition, you will avoid unnecessary wrinkles and folds in your pieces. You can maximize space even further by rolling up smaller items like socks and underwear and placing them in small bags inside your shoes.

Make the most of your hand luggage

Even if your hand luggage is just a backpack – the most practical solution -, use it to the fullest to put everything that will be useful to you. However, please check the items that you can carry in your hand luggage.

Add small snacks to your hand luggage

Energy bars and/or cookies are recommended, as you always have an easy and quick solution to satisfy your appetite while you’re on the go.

Don’t forget to bring earphones

Headphones are essential. If you don’t take it, you’ll see how much you’ll miss it, especially on flights where you need to rest. By taking them with you, you can avoid the possible noise on board to fully rest.
